Luis Hernandez is a junior at Marina High School in Monterey County and a first-generation Latino American dedicated to education and elevating student voices. He actively serves in a multitude of leadership roles across California, from city to state level, using his platform to advocate for equity and representation. Luis is passionate about ensuring that every individual knows their voice matters and deserves to be heard and acted upon. Beyond his work with CASC, he is a peer mentor at his school and enjoys spending time with his twin sister, exploring cafes, and discovering new matcha spots. he also has a strong interest in medicine, psychology, and education, and finds joy in nature-especially flowers, plants, and the California West coastline.
