Etan Suvunnapaph is a junior at Los Osos High School being Region 11 President of the California Association of Student Councils. He first experienced the CASC magic through Region Cabinet, which he quickly fell in love with the organization and mission. CASC provided him and other students a platform to advocate for the inequalities they see within the California education system, fueling his passion for civic leadership and student voice. Now, he is dedicated to uplifting others by empowering students to voice their concerns, lead with purpose, and leave a lasting impact on their communities. Through his role as Region 11 President, he hopes to create a new culture where change is crafted by youth. Outside CASC, Etan enjoys spending time with friends, watching movies, and eating out.
