Arifa Omid is a Senior at Whitney High School located in Rocklin CA, Placer County. A first-generation immigrant student working towards advancing equity in education and women’s rights in Afghanistan. Arifa aspires to serve and embody all 13 counties in Region 2, alongside her region Cabinet. Aside from political advocacy and CASC, Arifa is also involved in her community as a Placer County Youth Commissioner and a volunteer at the California Hazara Community.
