Ethan Duncan is a junior at Canyon High School in Anaheim, California. He is deeply passionate about the intersection of political science and economics, with a focus on expanding civic engagement and ensuring equitable access to education for students from marginalized backgrounds. Committed to this work, Ethan has held senior leadership roles with the Institute for Youth in Policy, Coalition PAC, and the High School Democrats of America, where he has driven initiatives centered on youth empowerment and public policy. In addition, Ethan has served in the offices of Representative Lou Correa and Assemblyman Philip Chen, where he worked on immigration casework and contributed to constituent services, directly supporting members of his community. As the elected Student Board Member for this CASC State Council cycle, Ethan seeks to build on this impact by serving on the Board of Directors and serving as a strong, informed voice for the more than six million students who call California home. In his free time, Ethan enjoys umpiring Little League baseball, where he serves as the youngest California District 30 umpire, as well as hiking throughout California’s beaches and national parks.
