Serving Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba Counties

Welcome to Region 2 of the California Association of Student Councils. Being in Region 2, serving 13 counties across our state, allows us to reach many different cities in an effort to expand the reach of CASC. Our proximity to the state capital gives us the opportunity to lobby and become more involved in the legislative process. I hope to bring students from all over our region to CASC, showing them the wonderful platform and useful leadership skills that the organization offers, which I truly believe help to develop and bring together engaged, passionate, and impactful youth.

Attending your regional CASC leadership conference will equip you with the skills necessary to change your school’s environment for the better. CASC is an organization that advocates a peer-supported environment that allows students to speak out about their passions, whether it be in ASB or in another club or sport. Students enhance their leadership abilities such as public speaking, project planning, and organization in order to create positive change in their schools and the world.

Funding and Scholarships

A few limited need-based scholarships are available for students (on a first come basis) if they are not able to secure funding from their families, schools, and communities. Click here to access the scholarship application
