Major philanthropic donations play a vital role in CASC's mission. Because of the contributions, we are able to assist less fortunate students experience leadership and advocacy work. CASC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, also continues being the unique voice that students can use to enact change through their own work. Recently, our CASC students endorsed a number of important pieces of legislation giving a voice to students. The latest Bill AB 2612 passed, grants a preferential vote to those students already seated on school boards.
