CASC Middle School Camp

Location: Stanford University

Date: August 5-8, 2010

At the middle school camp, you will have the opportunity to meet people from across the state and build life-long friendships. You will learn the skills needed in order to be a great leader as well those necessary to be the best individual you can be. From learning good public speaking techniques to finding your way across a magic carpet to “An Evening Under the Stars”, you are sure to find an activity that you will love! And don’t forget the amazing guest speakers. Don’t miss out on your chance to meet Cary the Mime and many more! After a fun-filled 4 days led by CASC trained counselors, and a cozy stay in relaxed college dorm rooms, you are sure to go back home a changed individual.

At the conference, you will attend a council with a group of about ten other students, exciting general sessions and structured activities, workshops, insightful role seminars, and school meetings. You will learn a variety of leadership skills and team building techniques, such as presentation skills, meeting skills, and project planning. Most importantly, you will be inspired to change your school and community in a way that only CASC Camp can inspire students!

Bring CASC back to your school! Imagine how great it would be if your entire student council could work together and all come to the same consensus during discussions! Imagine if they could work cohesively as a team! You can do all this by bringing CASC home. The leadership and teamwork skills you obtain will help your student council run smoothly. In addition, after meeting students from all across California, you are bound to take away some new ideas that you can implement in your own schools!   Hear what past participants have to say.
